      Guardian Pipeline originates from the Chicago Hub, near Joliet, Illinois, and extends to Ixonia, Wisconsin. The pipeline has approximately 143 miles of 1,000 psig MAOP 36-inch mainline, 22,225 HP of compression near Joliet and 11 meter stations, six receipt and five delivery.

      The current design capacity of Guardian Pipeline, L.L.C. is 750,000 Dth/day. The pipeline system can be expanded to more than 1,100,000 Dth/day at low cost with the installation of a midline compressor station. Guardian accesses all major North American supply basins, multiple upstream firm transportation providers and multiple providers of storage and related services.

      We offer competitive short- and long-term firm transportation rates and firm transportation service with significant flexibility built in at no additional cost.

These flexible services include:

• Limited notice nomination service for up to 10 percent of MDQ upon one hour notice
• Flexible primary receipt and delivery rights to change on two days' notice
• Aggregation of delivery and receipt points for monthly balancing
• 110 percent of hourly flow rates for up to five hours a day
• Firm and interruptible enhanced aggregation and wheeling services in the Joliet area providing enhanced flexibility for managing upstream no notice and storage services. This service allows for receipts and/or deliveries to most pipelines serving the Chicago area

Our services are designed to meet or exceed NAESB standards.

Interruptible transportation and park and loan services are also available.
